HRS-DL Burner (HRS Direct Firing Burner)
A simple compact direct firing regenerative burner incorporating NFK's latest high temperature combustion technology. With a built-in ceramic honeycomb regenerator this unit achieves ultra-high efficient heat recovery, drastic reduction of Nox emissions and uniform temperature distribution.
【Applications】
・Casting and forging furnaces
・Ceramics firing furnaces
・Ladle pre-heaters

for Re-heating Furnace at Steel Mill
HRS-DF Burner
(HRS Non-Oxidizing and Reducing Type Burner)
A non-oxidizing and reducing type of regenerative burner whici is the practical application of high temperature combustion technology in partial combustion (air ratio < 1.0). The maintenance free design of the honeycomb regenerators minimizes soot particles and is effective for environmental conservation.
【Applications】
Reheating furnaces for steel and copper, ceramic calciners.

HRS-MD-RT Burner
(HRS Minimized Draft Radiant Tube Type Burner)
A burner with a built-in honeycomb regenerator specially designed for the applocation of ultra-high pre-heated air combustion technology for heat treatment processes and other purposes in iron and steel manufacturing.
Minimum pressure loss and low NOx emission can be achieved simultaneously. Continuous forced cooling of the radiant tube is also possible.
【Applications】
Atmospheric furnaces and various types of indirect heating furnaces.

HRS-U1 Burner

A continuous fueling, direct firing burner with a built-in honeycomb regenerator which imcorporates ultra-high pre-heated air combustion technology to achieve both minimum pressure loss and low NOX emission. The built-in block type honeycomb regenerator allows for easy maintenance and servicing of regenerator media. An additional fuel nozzle for off-gas combustion may also be installed.
【Applications】
・Hydrogen generators
・Indirect type reforming furnaces

A.I./S.I.(Air/Steam Enthalpy Intensifier)
With this unit, it is possible to continuously generate high temperature air or steam (1,300K-1,500K) with maximum pressure of 10KPa by application of ultra waste heat recovery system utilizing the ceramic honeycomb. This steam enthalpy intensifier is used in the biomass gasification process developed by KTH (Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden) and other gassification processes.

Four Way Valve (Cross Exchange Mechanism-CEM)
CEM is for the operation of two sets (one pair) of regenerative burners. The four way valve makes possible both air feeding and flue gas exhaust with a single exchange valve.
The advantages of CEM in comparison with conventional valve system (four sets of valves required) are follows:
-
Low cost
-
Small size and simple construction
-
Simple piping and easy control
- Small leakage ratio (below 5%)
- Natural air cooling
